Job Description:
Manager, Integrated Media Planning
Position Summary
The Manager, Integrated Media Planning is accountable for the planning, implementation and tracking of media plans. They partner with the Associate Director and Director to set the strategic tone and direction for planning deliverables. The Manager also assists in the development of any important plans, projects, or presentations to the client. In addition, a strong working knowledge of the media space, including digital media, social, and available media research is a must. As a steppingstone to leadership, the Manager is responsible for managing the integrated planning team, including skills development, evaluating performance, and supporting growth.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution
Work closely with Director and Associate Director to lead planning and activation from campaign briefing to execution to post-campaign reporting.
Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, QA, launch, pacing, optimization, and reporting.
Ensure accurate implementation of audience targeting, tracking pixels, conversion events, and creative assets.
Troubleshoot delivery, tracking, and performance issues while proactively identifying solutions.
Work with Planner and Associate to ensure accuracy of client facing deliverables, including strategic media recommendations, competitive analysis, monthly flowcharts, etc.
Ensure adherence to client investment strategies and agency financial processes.
Client & Partner Management
Practices the ability to be personal, understanding and a desire to do what’s best for the team and the client.
Participate in client calls and statuses, delivering clear updates and actionable next steps to all parties involved.
Collaborate with agency teams, clients, vendors, and platform partners to ensure campaign success.
Communicate campaign performance, optimization recommendations, and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Optimization & Performance Management
Analyze campaign performance data and implement optimization strategies to improve KPIs.
Develop actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign results.
Leverage platform tools, audience insights, and performance trends to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Development
Provide guidance and mentorship to Planner and Associate Planner.
Review campaign setups and QA processes to ensure operational excellence.
Contribute to process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of media planning experience, cross-channel experience preferred.
Graduate of a four-year college or university.
Experience in a client service structure, contributing to the development and management of media programs.
Experience in reach-based planning.
Experience in digital and social media activation inclusive of trafficking campaigns, campaign management, and reporting.
Leadership ability and experience managing a team of planners and assistants on day-to-day deliverables.
Strong knowledge of media fundamentals and an understanding of key research sources.
Ability to develop and articulate strategic insights.
Comfort with data, analytics, and measurement.
Knowledge of current trends and innovations in media.
Experience managing substantial media budgets across multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing direct partner and publisher campaigns.
Experience with verification, brand safety, and attribution platforms.
Experience working in the Pharmaceutical vertical.

$80,000 - $95,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
